How the Wise man fishes...
|
Name: Brian Wise
City: Gainesville, MO
Occupation: Guide
Started fly fishing: I started fly fishing when I was
19. My girlfriend (now wife) got me back into fishing with spinning
gear after a several year "layoff." Long story short, I got bored
with spinning gear and wanted to try something a little more challenging...enter
fly fishing. I started guiding two years later and last year did
a fly fishing clinic to benefit Hurricane Relief.
Best day: White River, Arkansas for sure. Casting to huge
browns and 'bows all day....need I say more?
Favorite lake, river, or salt fishing spot: North Fork
of the White River in Missouri.
Trip of a lifetime: I would love to fish Patagonia. Huge
trout in a totally different world - wow! But I would also like
to fish some little tiny creeks for those gorgeous 10" brookies.
Fishing big waters so much makes me really want to try my hand
at creeks you can jump across.
