Started fly fishing: I've fished my entire life. One day
I grabbed my father's hand-me-down fly rod and gave it a try -
with little luck.
Six years later, my girlfriend's father suggested I give it another
go. I dug out that old rod and once I hooked my first trout, I
haven't been able to stop since.
Best day: I've been sitting here racking my brain to remember
a day that I enjoyed more than another and can honestly say I
can't think of just one. Be it fishing a wide-open creek with
one of my buddies or being alone on a tight mountain stream that
I have to crawl through on my hands and knees, I just love being
near the water and trout.
Favorite lake, river, or salt fishing spot: I'm going
to cheat and pick two. Tulpehocken Creek near Reading, PA and
Dingmans Creek near Dingmans Ferry, PA.
Trip of a lifetime: A week with my father on a secluded
mountain stream. Plain and simple.
